The Royal Convention

Dancers, teachers, and families are invited to join us for an inspiring day at the Royal Convention on November 15, 2026 in Albany, NY. This annual gathering brings together passionate artists for a full day of training, growth, and community.
The convention features masterclasses led by industry professionals, covering a wide range of styles and techniques. Dancers will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, refine their skills, and learn from some of the best in the field — all in an uplifting, high‑energy environment.

Holiday Showcase
Holiday Showcase at the Palace Theater — December 19, 2026 (Time TBA)
The magic of the season takes the stage as our dancers present the Holiday Showcase at the Palace Theater on December 19, 2026. This annual celebration brings together festive music, sparkling choreography, and the joy of performing for family and friends.
The showcase highlights everything our dancers have worked toward throughout the year — their growing technique, creativity, and confidence. Families and community members are invited to join us for a heartwarming celebration filled with holiday spirit and inspired performances.

McHarrie Nursing Home
McHarrie Nursing Home Performance — January 10 at 2:00 PM
We are excited to share that our dancers will be performing at McHarrie Nursing Home on January 10 at 2:00 PM. This special community performance gives our dancers the chance to spread joy, connect with residents, and share the magic of movement with an audience that truly appreciates it.
The list of dances to be performed will be announced soon, and we will update families as soon as the lineup is finalized. Please keep an eye on your email and the studio message board for details.

Syracuse Crunch
Crunch Game Performance — February 27, 2027
Our dancers will be attending the Crunch Game Performance on February 27, 2027. While this event is not directly run by the studio, many of our dancers participate each year and proudly represent Gotta Dance on the court.
Students may be performing or simply cheering on their teammates from the stands, making this a fun and spirited evening for everyone involved. It’s a wonderful opportunity for dancers to support one another and share in the excitement of a live game atmosphere.

Get ready for an exciting weekend of artistry and athleticism at the Royal Dance Competition, March 12–14 in Cortland, NY. Dancers from across the region will come together to share their passion, showcase their skills, and light up the stage with unforgettable performances.
This multi-day event features a full schedule of solos, duets, trios, and group routines spanning a variety of styles — from ballet and jazz to contemporary, hip hop, and more. It’s a chance for dancers to celebrate their hard work, receive valuable feedback, and cheer on fellow performers in a supportive, high-energy environment.

All Out Dance Nationals
All Out Dance Nationals — July 4–11, 2027 at Kalahari Resorts, Poconos PA
Our dancers are thrilled to head to the national championship at Kalahari Resorts in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania, July 4–11, 2027. The All Out Dance Competition and Convention hosts its exciting Poconos Nationals at one of the country’s most unique resort venues, bringing together studios from across the nation for a week of unforgettable performances and training.
Throughout the championship week, dancers will showcase their hard work on stage, train with inspiring faculty, and connect with fellow performers in a supportive, confidence‑building environment. All Out’s commitment to personal growth, artistry, and sportsmanship makes the Poconos Nationals an incredible experience for dancers and families alike.
We invite families, friends, and supporters to join us at Kalahari Resorts from July 4–11, 2027 as our dancers compete, learn, and shine at the All Out Dance National Championship. More details will be shared as we obtain them, including schedules, performance times, and additional event information.
June Recital

Taste of Syracuse
The Taste of Syracuse is a legendary festival located in Syracuse, NY. Considered Syracuse’s “kick off” of the summer, the Taste has been an annual festival for 25+ years. We celebrate local food, business, music and more in the heart of downtown Syracuse spanning from Clinton Square to the Chase Building. Treat yourself to $2 samples from a variety of local restaurants while you jam out to great music across 3 stages!
